Commercial Spray Foam Insulation in Manchester
Spray foam is the most efficient insulation (per thickness) for Commercial Buildings.
At, Websters Insulation, we have over 35 years of experience in polyurethane spray foam insulation and it’s application in commercial buildings across Manchester, and the UK as a whole.
Polyurethane Spray Foam Insulation is widely used for commercial and industrial buildings, such as the following:
- Warehouses
- Factories
- Offices
- Industrial units
- Showrooms
- Exhibition halls
- Shops
- Football stadiums
- Municipal/charitable/religious buildings
Spray foam offers an ideal, cost effective solution for insulation and condensation issues in commercial buildings around the Greater Manchester area. It improves an ideal working environment as well as reducing fuel costs. It can also be applied to virtually any surface and in older buildings, it can even be used for asbestos encapsulation.
With both new builds and existing buildings, the foam is applied to the underside of the steel, aluminium or asbestos roofs and walls to a specified thickness. A K-value of 0.023 W/mK provides unmatched insulative properties, reducing U-values from ~6.0 W/m²K with as little as 75mm of spray foam. A U-value of ~0.48 W/m²K is possible with as little as a 50mm application of foam.

Foam Thickness (mm) | K – Value | U – Value |
25 | 0.023 | 0.840 |
50 | 0.023 | 0.437 |
75 | 0.023 | 0.295 |
85 | 0.023 | 0.264 |
100 | 0.023 | 0.225 |
130 | 0.023 | 0.173 |

The finished surface is non-toxic and odourless, with low water absorption and a high resistance to chemical attack. The surface can also be high-pressure jet washed for easy maintenance.
All our spray foam insulation materials we use are made to BS 476 Part 7 fire retardant standards. Class zero standard can be provided where an additional level of fire protection is required. The surface can also be coated with emulsion paints or chlorinated rubber vapour barriers as required.
